  January 30, 2025 HOW I MANAGE MY TIME AS A NURSING STUDENT Starting nursing school has been both exciting and overwhelming. As a first-year student, I quickly realized that balancing lectures, return demonstration, studying, and assignments requires good time management. At first, I struggled to keep up, but I soon learned that planning ahead makes a huge difference. Every week, I write down my schedule, including class times, return demonstration, and deadlines. This helps me stay organized and prevents me from feeling overwhelmed by last-minute tasks. Having a clear plan allows me to focus on what needs to be done each day. Prioritizing tasks has also been essential in managing my workload. Not all assignments and study topics require the same level of attention, so I rank them based on deadlines and importance.   Time Management as a Medical Student Managing time as a medical student is one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced. Between classes, studying, clinical rotations, and trying to take care of myself, it often feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day.
